Private Contingencies, a partially imaginary installation.

Private Contingencies: Emphemeral objects in temporary assignments.

Any piece I work on gets moved around a lot in the course of it's emergence. I make work in relation to it's cohorts, the environment, the light of a particular day. Things get pinned to the wall next to, or on top of. Life constrained me physically for a while but now I can make big work, which I love, even though I am always aware of the absurdity that is me, of the tiny house with no attic or basement, and a studio that has suffered from 2 years of my packrat, magpie tendencies.
