I wanted work that had a kind of stutter to it, a kind of freeze-frame, new angle close-up like in a film, that shakes up what we thought we saw, what we thought we knew. That stops or alters the sense or understanding of time.

And sometimes, is also, an interruption, a frustration, a blockage.
